Vicky (she/her) is a dedicated hobbyist and little guy on the internet. (Ask her what she’s working on now!) She likes discovering new worlds in stories, trying new food, and attempting to make her desk look presentable, despite the mess.
As an artist, she loves creating art that tells a story, whether its a small glimpse of another fantastical world or a cozy slice of something mundane. In 2020, Vicky was was one of ten We Need Diverse Books Walter Grant Winners, a grant for promising unpublished writers and illustrators from diverse communities.
She's also working on a variety of personal craft projects (see #crafting) and the cozy puzzle garden game, Floramino, with Studio Lavacado.
As a blogger and avid reader, she has written for the Barnes & Noble Teen Blog, Shelf Awareness, Strange Horizons, and other publications--but you might have first seen her on her young adult book blog, Vicky Who Reads (2017-2019).
